Life Drawings

These are models from real life that I've drawn some detailed poses for.  I'm capable of drawing realistic anatomy using real-life poses as guides for creating characters.

Full Pencil Drawings

A model I drew from a photograph.  It took a few tries to get this very accurate.  I had  assistance from one Maxx Marshall to go over and redo this since the older ones weren't as good.  It took a couple real life days to finish due to restarting twice.
Drew this when I saw a flood of the movie "300" related images in the internet, with that etched in my head, (and a photograph from a magazine) I created this.  What was the biggest challenge was the face because of the dark areas.
Digital Illustrations

A digital illustration that started out as a pencil sketch (or sketches) of something that would fit in an RPG similar to say, Oblivion.  Originally he was going to clad in armor, but in more historically accurate settings a mercenary would have pieces of armor mixed in with cloth and a rugged look.

This was sketched on paper and scanned in to be colored in via Wacom tablet + Photoshop
Most fantasy worlds consist of some strange creatures, like Star Wars and the World of Warcraft.  This one was my attempt at a lizard creature used as a mount.  Started out as a series of designs that ranged from a raptor to a T-rex, but went with a more "kid-friendly" approach.

A monk character that will become a 3D model.  This idea came to me from many inspirations and several design phases until I was satisfied with this one Not to mention my taste for beat em' up action games, and animation.  I had to make sure this was adequate for modeling and would allow the texture maps to contain most of the details.  This was done in Photoshop CS2 with several brushes, sketched digitally with my Wacom tablet.

This was my older Dancer artwork that needed some work done.  With my tablet I was able to enhance several areas including adding a painted background.  Re-sketched and illustrated in Photoshop CS2 and Wacom tablet.

Environments

A city concept art, series of rooftops with some tall skyscrapers in the distance.  Done in pencil and stylized in Photoshop.
